Local dissemination in Tagus

In celebration of World Water Day, the BINGO project has organised the event "BINGO talks about Tagus", a day full of activities, music, talks, guided tours, games and prizes where the BINGO team interacted with the locals to share the Project messages, about how their "tap water " comes about, about the importance of the river and adaptations to climate change in the Tagus and in Europe.

From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on March 23rd, the BINGO was at Valada do Tejo riverside Park, facilitating activities about water and climate change related to the project, organised guided tours to the Water Treatment Station (ETA) of Vale da Pedra, to the Valada water intake, where BINGO team presented the water flow from source to the consumer tap.

The event was free and it was attended by over 80 people!

The initiative was organised by the local BINGO partners - EPAL, DGADR, CIMLT, LNEC and SPI ** - with the support of the Municipal Council of Cartaxo and the Parish Council of Valada do Tejo.
