Climate Change Adaptation Workshop in Germany

BINGO Second Workshop with End Users

With more than 30 participants, the second BINGO workshop in Germany was a great success. Main topics discussed were climate change adaption strategies within the Wupper basin including scopes and suitable measures. In addition, potential contributions from BINGO's research outcomes were considered. Of special interest for the participants was the interdisciplinary view and knowledge exchange with the overall goal of achieving and implementing appropriate measures in the context of climate change. The next workshop (announced for 5th May 2017) will focus on adaption strategies and measures which shall be determined within the BINGO project including the set-up of a frame for economic and/or societal assessment.
